The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to your community.
SASSA will likely be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency said it is actually alarmed regarding the higher number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area regularly. The support place created for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out click here programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and maximize use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
